Network Engineer

Job Overview

The Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD) is seeking a Network Engineer (BPS-16). This role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the institute's growing network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will ensure network connectivity, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and install network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot network issues and outages.
• Implement and maintain network security measures.
• Manage network documentation and an inventory of network assets.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have:

• MS / B.E / BCS / BS / MBA in Computer Science, IT, IS, or Electronics.
• 03 - 05 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
• In-depth understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Spanning Tree).
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools.

The age limit for this position is 28 years. General age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
