Sub Inspector General Duty

Position Overview

Headquarters Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) invites applications from male Pakistani citizens for recruitment as Sub Inspector General Duty (Pay Scale BPS-13). This is an opportunity to join a prestigious paramilitary force dedicated to maintaining security in Sindh province.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Pakistani (Male)
• Qualification: FA / FSc or equivalent. Preference may be given to candidates with higher qualifications.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as of 30 April 2025 (Age relaxation may apply as per government rules, especially for candidates from specific regions or backgrounds - refer to detailed advertisement).
• Physical Standards:
  - Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.64 cm).
  - Chest: Minimum 33 inches with 1.5 inches expansion.
  - Weight: Minimum 121 lbs (55 Kgs). BMI will be assessed according to medical standards.

Application Process

1. Online Registration: Candidates must register online through the official website www.joinpakrangerssindh.org. The registration period is from 27 April 2025 to 16 May 2025.
2. Physical Appearance: After online registration, candidates will receive further instructions via SMS (using the number provided during registration - 'SINDHRANGER') regarding the date and time (0600 hours) to appear at the designated recruitment center for initial physical test, verification of documents, initial medical examination, and written test.
3. Required Documents at Center: Candidates must bring original educational certificates/sanads/degrees along with attested photocopies (if applying for Matric basis, bring 8th class pass certificate too), original CNIC issued by NADRA, original Domicile/PRC, and 4 recent colored passport-size photographs. Government servants must bring original NOC from their department.
4. Recruitment Centers & Dates (for Physical Appearance): Various centers across Pakistan including Mandi Bahauddin, Multan, Kohat, Mardan, Sukkur, Karachi, Turbat from 26 May 2025 to 30 May 2025 (check website/SMS for specific center details).

Selection Procedure

The selection process includes: Initial Medical Examination, Physical Test, Verification of Documents, Written Test, Psychological Test / Interview, Final Medical Examination (at Sindh Rangers Hospital Karachi), Call Letter issuance, and Training (at Training Centre & School Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Karachi).

Important Notes

Candidates dismissed/discharged from any government service (including Armed Forces) on disciplinary grounds or convicted by a court are ineligible. Providing false information will lead to disqualification. No TA/DA is admissible.
