Sepoy General Duty

Role Overview

Applications are invited from male Pakistani nationals for the post of Sepoy General Duty (BPS-5) in Pakistan Rangers (Sindh). This entry-level position forms the backbone of the force, involving various operational and security duties.

Minimum Education and Eligibility

Education: 8th Class Passed. Preference given to Matric and above / technical diploma holders.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as of April 30, 2025 (including 5 years age relaxation).
Citizenship: Pakistani (Male).

Physical Standards

Height: Minimum 5'-6' (5 feet and 6 inches). Preference given to taller candidates.
Chest: 33' inch (including 1 ½ inch expansion).
Weight: Minimum 121 Lbs (55 kg approx) and maximum according to BMI.

Selection Process

The recruitment process includes:
1. Online Registration: Via https://www.joinpakrangerssindh.org between Apr 27 and May 16, 2025.
2. Physical Test, Document Verification (8th Class Cert/SLC verified by DEO, CNIC, Domicile, Photos, NOC if applicable), Initial Medical: At designated centers from May 26 to Jun 1, 2025.
3. Written Test.
4. Psychological Tests / Interviews: For shortlisted candidates.
5. Final Medical Exam: Conducted in Karachi.
6. Final Selection: Strictly on merit.
7. Call Letters: Issued to medically fit candidates.

Training

Successful candidates will undergo initial training at the Training Centre and School Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), Karachi.

Pay and Allowances

Basic Pay Scale (BPS) 5. Other benefits include allowances as per rules, free accommodation, and house rent for married personnel.
