Job Overview

An opportunity exists for Sub-Engineers (Electrical) at the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA). The role supports conservation and heritage preservation projects in Lahore and other cities across Punjab. This is a contract appointment for an initial duration of one year.

Key Responsibilities

The Sub-Engineer (Electrical) will be involved in site supervision for electrical works, ensuring compliance with engineering codes, preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and using AutoCAD and project planning tools.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered, applicants must have:

• A 03-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical Technology from a recognized Technical Institute & Punjab Technical Board.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
• Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications and greater experience.

Skills Required

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Knowledge of the latest engineering codes of practice.
• Experience in site supervision and BOQ preparation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Project Planning.
• Must have relevant experience.

ii. The contract appointment is temporary in nature, non-transferable, non-pensionable, job/post specific, and confers no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be initially for 01 year, which can be extended or reduced by the competent authority.
iii. The offered salary against each post is on a lump-sum basis (including all allowances) with an annual increment according to Govt. of the Punjab notification (updated from time to time).
iv. A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer is required for government servants at the time of job application submission.
v. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated/called for a test/interview through call/e-mail etc.
vi. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the test/interview.
vii. WCLA reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel any advertised post(s).
