Sub-Engineer (Civil)

Job Overview

The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) is looking for skilled Sub-Engineers (Civil) to contribute to its conservation and heritage preservation projects. These projects are located in Lahore and other cities across Punjab. This is a contract position for an initial term of one year.

Key Responsibilities

The Sub-Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for site supervision, ensuring adherence to engineering codes, preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and utilizing AutoCAD and project planning tools for civil engineering works.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A 03-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Civil Technology from a recognized Technical Institute & Punjab Technical Board.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications and more extensive experience.

Skills Required

The ideal candidate must have:

• Knowledge of the latest engineering codes of practice.
• Experience in site supervision and BOQ preparation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Project Planning.
• Must have relevant experience.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates meeting the criteria should follow the application process outlined below:
i. Applications for Sr. # 1 to 7 are to be submitted through the Punjab Job Portal: www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk. Further job descriptions for every post are available on the Punjab Job Portal.
ii. The contract appointment is temporary in nature, non-transferable, non-pensionable, job/post specific, and confers no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be initially for 01 year, which can be extended or reduced by the competent authority.
iii. The offered salary against each post is on a lump-sum basis (including all allowances) with an annual increment according to Govt. of the Punjab notification (updated from time to time).
iv. A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer is required for government servants at the time of job application submission.
v. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated/called for a test/interview through call/e-mail etc.
vi. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the test/interview.
vii. WCLA reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel any advertised post(s).
viii. The application should be submitted by the last date: 05-06-2025.
