Staff Nurse

Job Overview

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. This includes assessing patient needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support. The Staff Nurse will work as part of a team to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and develop care plans. nAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed. nMonitor vital signs and document patient progress. nProvide emotional support and education to patients and families. nAssist with procedures and treatments. nMaintain accurate and complete patient records.

Qualifications and Skills

B.Sc. Nursing 4-Year/Post RN 2-Year/Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery/Post Basic Specialization or an equivalent degree from HEC/PNC recognized university. nWork experience in a tertiary care hospital will be preferred.
