Special Prosecutor (Money Laundering/Financial Investigation)

Role Overview

The Regional Directorate Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Punjab, Lahore, requires the services of a qualified and experienced advocate to be appointed as a Special Prosecutor on a contract basis. The primary responsibility will be to prosecute cases related to Money Laundering and Financial Investigation in the Civil Court, Anti-Narcotics Court, Sessions Court Lahore, and the Lahore High Court.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who meet the following criteria can apply:

• Must be a citizen of Pakistan, specifically a resident of Lahore, without any political affiliation.
• Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a practicing advocate in the High Court.
• Must possess experience in handling criminal cases, particularly Money Laundering/Financial Investigation cases, in trial courts and the High Court.
• Must be a member of the Punjab Bar Council and/or the High Court Bar Association.
• Must possess good moral character, should not have been dismissed from any government service due to misconduct or immoral activity, and should not be bankrupt.
• During the tenure with ANF, the selected prosecutor cannot appear as defense counsel for any accused in drug-related cases filed by any law enforcement agency in any court.

Remuneration and Contract Terms

An attractive monthly remuneration package will be offered. An annual increment of up to 10% will be given based on performance. The appointment will be on a contract basis.

Interview Details

Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be conducted at the Anti-Narcotics Force Regional Directorate Punjab, VIP Flights Complex Road, Behind Ayub Stadium, Lahore Cantt. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
