Job Overview
The Government of the Punjab's Health & Population Department is recruiting a Social and Gender Officer for its Program Management Unit (PMU) handling the Punjab Family Planning Program (PFPP). This position is offered on a contract basis and supports a World Bank funded project. The role is based in Lahore. Applications from female and transgender candidates are particularly encouraged.Qualifications Required
Applicants must hold a Master's degree or equivalent (sixteen years of education). Acceptable fields of study include Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Development, or another relevant discipline. The degree should be from a foreign or local university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Degrees must either be from HEC-recognized institutions or from reputable foreign universities with HEC equivalence.Experience and Skills Needed
A minimum of three years of documentary verifiable experience in a relevant field is essential, gained after obtaining the required academic qualifications. Candidates with prior experience working in development projects, especially those funded by foreign agencies, will be given preference.Application Process

3. Pay the prescribed test fee via designated channels (1Link 1Bill, banks, ATMs, online/mobile banking, Easy Paisa, Jazz Cash, TCS Express) and obtain the deposit slip.
4. Send the filled online application form, original deposit slip, a copy of your CNIC, and two recent passport-size photos via courier to the NTS Headquarter: National Testing Service, Plot # 96 Street 4, H-8/1 H 8/1 H-8, Islamabad.
5. Ensure your complete application package reaches NTS by 16th May, 2025.
6. Incomplete applications or those arriving after the deadline will not be considered.

Selection Details and Conditions
An NTS written test will be conducted. A minimum score of 50% is required to qualify. Eligible/shortlisted candidates will be informed of the test date via NTS. Only those shortlisted after the test will be invited for an interview. Original documents and attested photocopies must be presented at the interview. Providing fake documents or concealing information will result in disqualification. No travel or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be paid for attending the test/interview. The Department retains the right to cancel the recruitment process or reject any/all applications at any time without stating a reason.Submit Application
