Position Overview

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced five vacancies on behalf of the Directorate of Livestock Production Research Institute, Bahadurnagar (Okara), for the post of Senior Veterinary Officer/Research Officer/Assistant Research Officer (BS-18). These are regular, open merit positions for dedicated professionals in the veterinary and animal sciences field.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following comprehensive qualification and experience criteria:

Option 1: Ph.D. in Livestock Production, Animal Breeding and Genetics, Animal Reproduction, Dairy Technology, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Pathology, Clinical Medicine & Surgery, Veterinary Parasitology, Animal Nutrition, or Livestock Management, along with a basic degree of DVM / B.Sc. (Hons.) A.H.
Option 2: M.Phil/M.Sc.(Hons.) in one of the above specializations with a basic DVM/B.Sc.(Hons.) A.H. degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
Option 3: DVM from a recognized University with 5 years of relevant experience.
Registration: All candidates must have a valid registration with the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC).
Age Limit: Male: 25 to 40 years; Female: 25 to 43 years (including age relaxation).

Syllabus for Written Examination

The syllabus for the written test for these positions will be decided and intimated to the candidates by the PPSC at a later stage.
