Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission, registered with PMDC/PMC.
The postgraduate qualification required is FCPS, MD, CCT, or Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC.
If no such candidate is available with the aforesaid qualification, then FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatric or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC is acceptable.
This must be accompanied by three years of experience in Paediatric Intensive Care after post-graduation in Paediatric obtained in a training program accredited by a national body (CPSP or University) or an international body from an institute recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission.
Alternatively, an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification with FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatric or equivalent qualification, along with two years of experience in Paediatric Intensive Care after post-graduation in Paediatric from an institute recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission.

General Notes for Senior Registrar Roles

Experience Verification in Government Sector:
Experience gained in the Government Sector will only be accepted if the same is issued by the designated authority and countersigned by the concerned Administrative Department.
Experience from Foreign/Autonomous Body/Private Institution:
Experience gained from Foreign/Autonomous body/Private institution shall only be accepted, if the same is recognized and issued by PM&DC.
Valid (Full) Permanent Registration Certificate:
It is mandatory to provide a valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the PMDC/PMC showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date of the advertised post(s). If expired, applying proof for renewal of registration on or before the closing date is required.
