Job Overview

The Home Department, Government of Sindh, is inviting applications from experienced and qualified professionals for the newly established Provincial Security Unit (PSU). One position for a Security Risk Assessment Specialist is available in Karachi, Sindh. This role is offered on a contract basis for two years, extendable based on performance, with a competitive salary package.

General Experience Required for All PSU Positions

Candidates for all positions within the PSU should ideally possess:

Prior consultancy or collaboration with international or local organizations.
Skill in handling sensitive assignments, inter-agency coordination, and strategic planning.
Proven experience in research work, including the publication of research papers, and formulation of policies, manuals, and strategic frameworks.
Proficiency in preparing PowerPoint presentations, Excel reports, maps, and policy booklets.

Specific Qualifications and Experience for Security Risk Assessment Specialist

Qualification: Masters degree in International Law, International Relations, Security Studies, Risk Management or a related discipline from a reputable national/international university recognized by HEC.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in security risk analysis, threat assessments, and critical infrastructure protection.
