Position Overview

The Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical Complex/Nowshera Medical College (MTI), Nowshera, an autonomous medical teaching institution under the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is inviting applications for the position of Secretary to the Board of Governors (BoG). This role is a key secretarial function, responsible for providing administrative support to the Board. The position is offered on a contract basis for an initial period of three years, which is extendable yearly based on performance evaluations and KPI achievements. Key Responsibilities

The Secretary to the Board serves as an administrative assistant to the Board and operates under the direction of the Chairperson. Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing all secretarial and office functions of the Board.
  • Recording minutes of all Board meetings.
  • Convening Board meetings and managing logistics.
  • Carrying out all communications with Board members.
  • Handling any other functions as prescribed by the Board or the Chairperson.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this role:
  • Qualification: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Management Sciences, from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Experience: At least 05 years of relevant experience in a reputable public or private sector organization.
  • Skills: Applicants must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be proficient in computer use and shorthand, and have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral English and Urdu. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and understand medical terminology is essential.

4. The application package, along with the original fee deposit slip/draft, must be sent via registered postal mail or courier service to the Office of the Chairman Board of Governors through Secretary BoG MTI-Nowshera.
5. The application must reach the office within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.
6. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.
