Job Overview

One Research Associate on a contract basis is required for PARB funded project No. 25-330 titled "Tissue culture-based propagation of vegetable hybrids to eliminate dependency on imported hybrid seeds". The position is based at the Vegetable Research Institute, Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI), Faisalabad.

Qualification and Requirements

Applicants must hold an M.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture degree in Plant Breeding & Genetics. Candidates with prior tissue culture experience will be preferred. There should be no 3rd division in the academic career. Please note that persons currently enrolled in any educational institution will not be eligible for this post.

Salary and Project Duration

The selected candidate will get a lump sum pay of Rs. 75,000/- per month initially, which includes allowances along with a 7% annual increment on initial pay. The project duration is three years, initially for one year, and is extendable upon annual satisfactory performance.
