Role and Project Context

The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad is actively seeking a Research Assistant (PPS-06) to bolster the research team of the 'ESTABLISHMENT OF PAK KOREA NUTRITION CENTER (PKNC) TO IMPROVE CHILD AND COMMUNITY NUTRITION (Revised)' project. Responsibilities

As a Research Assistant, you will provide crucial support to senior researchers and project leads. Your duties will include assisting in data collection and analysis, laboratory experiments, literature reviews, and report preparation. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to research tasks, all within the framework of the project's objectives related to child and community nutrition.

Academic Requirements and Experience

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree (16 years of education) in Food Science & Technology, Human Nutrition & Dietetics, or Food & Nutrition from an HEC-recognized institute. Preference will be given to applicants with at least one (1) year of relevant experience. This blend of strong academic background and practical experience will be key to success in this research-focused position.

Remuneration and Tenure

The successful applicant will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 105,000/-. This is a project-based position, initially for a duration of one year, with the potential for extension until the project's completion. This tenure is dependent on performance and the ongoing requirements of the 'ESTABLISHMENT OF PAK KOREA NUTRITION CENTER' project.
