Job Overview

The Finance Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, seeks dedicated Research Associates to join its Fund Support Unit (FSU) for an initial one-year contract. This role is crucial for conducting in-depth research and analysis in various financial domains, including financial management, accounting, investment strategies, and risk analysis. Research Associates will provide valuable insights that inform decision-making processes and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates applying for the Research Associate position must possess a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience. This experience should be within the field of Financial Management, Accounting, Finance, Business or Risk Management, capital market analysis, designing investment strategy, or Risk Analysis, with an understanding of both Pakistan's and the international market. A demonstrable and verifiable track record of outstanding achievement is essential. Furthermore, applicants must have a minimum of sixteen years of formal education from a reputable local or international institution, specifically in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or MS-IT. Professional certifications such as CFA/FRM/ACCA/CA are highly regarded. Relevant experience in the public, private, or development sectors, or a combination thereof, will also be considered.

Recruitment Procedure

The recruitment process for the Research Associate will proceed in three distinct phases:
