About the Project

The Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received a loan (No. 3837-PAK) from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the Social Protection Development Project (SPDP) (Additional Financing). The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), serving as the implementing agency, plans to allocate part of these loan proceeds for engaging Individual Consultants for its 'CI Wing'. BISP is now inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced national professionals.

Role Overview

BISP is seeking Expressions of Interest for the position of Regional Outreach Coordinator (Federal Area) (AJK) on an individual consultant basis. The selected consultant will lead outreach activities in the Federal Area and AJK, focusing on effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and enhancing the program's objectives. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills. Applicants must be authorized to work in Pakistan.

Key Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Regional Outreach Coordinator (Federal Area) (AJK) position should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass and Media Communication, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. A PhD in Mass Communication from a foreign reputed university will be given preference.
• Proven experience of ten (10) years in a senior media management role, preferably within a governmental organization, international agency, or a large-scale NGO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Experience in digital media, social media management, and online engagement strategies is an asset.
• Knowledge of socio-economic development issues, particularly related to poverty alleviation and social protection, is desirable.

Only candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted for an interview. No travel allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for the interview.
