Regional Head - Retail Banking (Islamabad/Gilgit Baltistan/Hazara Region)

Position Overview

Bank of Khyber is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Regional Head - Retail Banking for its Islamabad/Gilgit Baltistan/Hazara Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the retail banking operations and performance within the designated region. This position will report into the Retail Banking Group and the location will be Islamabad.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum education required is Graduation. Preference will be given to Master's degree holders from a university recognized by the HEC of Pakistan or in case of foreign qualification in the above disciplines, holds an equivalency certificate from HEC of Pakistan.
• Minimum 10 years of Commercial Banking experience including 05 years as an Area Manager or equivalent supervisory role in Retail/Branch Banking. Preference will be given to Islamic Banking experience.
• Age limit will be governed under Bank's HR Rules.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

• Ability to lead and supervise Area Managers and Branch Managers.
• Responsible to generate and manage Liability & Consumer Assets targets effectively.
• Manage branch network in the region and assign KPI's to Area Managers/Branch Managers.
• To ensure effective monitoring of progress on achievement of various targets and KPIs.
• Identify and formulate area wise strategies and effectively supervise activities pertaining to business of the branch network.
• Achievement of CASA deposit & Consumer targets.
• Ensuring complete compliance with operational risk management policies & procedures.
• Bringing quality to customer service by continually improving prevailing processes and practices.
• Any other related task assigned by the Management.

Location & Remuneration Package

For Islamabad/Gilgit Baltistan/Hazara region, the location will be Islamabad. A market-based remuneration package will be offered.
