Job Overview

The Bank of Punjab, one of the fastest-growing banks in Pakistan with over 35 years of existence, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Regional Business Head for its Branch Banking Division (CBG) based in Karachi. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced, dedicated, and performance-driven banking professionals to build a long-term career in a dynamic organization. The role is graded as SVP/EVP-I.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for achieving liability and cross-sell targets, alongside the effective management of all units under their command.
Ensuring full compliance with operational risk management policies, procedures, and Sharia guidelines is paramount.
The role involves providing comprehensive support to staff by adopting a problem-solving approach to achieve regional goals.
Specific targets include achieving Current Account (CA), Savings Account (SA), and total deposit targets (PE & Average), along with other revenue and cross-functional targets set for the region on a monthly basis.
Developing and implementing effective strategies in letter and spirit down the line for each branch and individual sales staff is crucial.
Optimizing the productivity of reporting staff at all levels and enforcing a strong compliance culture within branches concerning operational risk management policies and procedures are key functions.
Continuously improving existing processes to enhance the quality of customer service is expected.
Collaboration with other business units (Areas & Regions) is necessary to strengthen prospective customer identification and identify sales opportunities that enhance deposit mobilization and customer management.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: A minimum Bachelor's Degree from an HEC recognized University or a Foreign University is required.
Age: Candidates must be up to 55 years of age as of April 27, 2025.
Experience: A minimum of 09 years of banking experience is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates possessing more than 03 years of banking experience in a similar role.
