About the Project Manager Role

This Project Manager position (PPS-7) at Rawalpindi Medical University is integral to the successful execution of the 'Establishment of Post-Graduate Research Laboratories and Allied Facilities' project. The role is offered on a contract basis, specifically for the gestation period of the project, ensuring focused and dedicated leadership. We are looking for a highly capable individual who can effectively plan, manage, and oversee all aspects of this critical initiative, from inception to completion. Key Qualifications and Experience Required

To be considered for this Project Manager role, candidates must possess a 1st Class BS / Master (16 years) Degree in the field of BBA, MBA, or BE from an HEC recognized university/institution, coupled with at least 05 years of post-qualification experience in handling PSDP or Government projects. Alternatively, an MS (equivalent to 18 years) in Project Management is acceptable, provided the candidate has at least 03 years of post-qualification experience in managing PSDP projects, preferably within higher education sectors. A strong candidate will also demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of project execution, management principles, PEC, PPRA, Finance, Planning Commission guidelines, and other relevant Government rules and procedures essential for the implementation of PSDP development projects. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this demanding position.

Age and Application Process

The maximum age limit for applicants for this Project Manager position is up to 45 years on the date of appointment.
