Position Details

Position: Community Investment Officer
Department: Sustainability/Community Development
Location: Nokkundi - Balochistan

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification: BS/MS or Master's degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in community development, social impact assessment, or corporate social responsibility (CSR) within the mining or development sector. Proven experience in supervising projects related to Education, Health, Water, Environment, Food Security, Livelihood, and Economic Development is required.

Required Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate must be experienced in grant management, project implementation, and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), possessing strong skills in financial analysis and budgeting for community investments. Adeptness in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and ESG best practices is crucial. Must be an effective communicator with strong analytical and reporting abilities, demonstrating proven success in multicultural, collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities

The Community Investment Officer will oversee community programs across various sectors including education, health, water, environment, food security, livelihood, and economic development. Responsibilities include developing MEL frameworks, managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, aligning initiatives with international standards (IFC, UN SDGs, ESG), tracking indicators, maintaining dashboards, benchmarking performance, preparing impact reports, and ensuring compliance with CSR and reporting standards while supporting strategic organizational decisions.
