Project Director (PPS-09)

Job Overview

Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, invites applications for the contractual post of Project Director (PPS-09). The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the Public Sector Development Project (PSDP) titled “Development of Main Campus, Bacha Khan University, Charsadda”. This is a senior leadership role requiring extensive experience in project execution, management, and supervision in public or semi-autonomous organizations. Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Option 1:

• Education: At least 2nd Class BS / Master’s degree (16 years) in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration.
• Experience: A minimum of 12 years of post-qualification relevant experience in Public/Semi-Autonomous/Autonomous bodies/organizations of good repute. This must include 07 years of experience in project design, execution/management, consultant & contractor supervision, and preparation of periodic and other reports.

OR

Option 2:

• Education: At least 2nd Class M.Sc. / MS / M.Phil (18 years) in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration.
• Experience: At least 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience in any Public/Semi-Autonomous/Autonomous bodies/organizations of good repute. This must include 05 years of experience in project design, execution/management, consultant & contractor supervision, and preparation of periodic and other reports.

Essential Knowledge:
The candidate should be well-versed in PEC, PPRA, Planning Commission, Finance, Project Management Guidelines, and other Government rules/procedures prescribed for the implementation of development projects.

2. Required Documents: The duly filled application form must be submitted along with a CV, a recent photograph, attested copies of all educational documents, experience certificates, and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) if applicable.
3. Submission: The complete application package must reach the Office of the Registrar, Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, before the deadline.
4. Application Fee: A payment receipt of Rs. 2,000/- must be attached to the application form. The fee should be deposited in the Bank of Khyber (BKUC Booth) A/C No. (Branch Code) 0088-2006259998.
5. Deadline: The last date for application submission is 04 July, 2025.
6. Government Employees: Government servants and employees of autonomous institutions must apply through the proper channel. If selected, a government employee must resign from their service before appointment to the project post.
7. Interview: Only eligible candidates will be called for an interview/test. Candidates must present their original academic credentials at the time of the interview. No T.A./D.A. will be admissible.
