Introduction to the Job

The Government of Balochistan, Planning and Development Department invites applications from dynamic and result-oriented individuals for the position of Project Director for the PSDP funded Project entitled, "Implementation of Hub City Master Plan". The position will be filled purely on a contract basis in line with PD's appointment policy notified by the P&D Department.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 16 years of education with specialization in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution in disciplines such as BS/BE in Engineering (with PEC registration), Project Management, MBA, MPA, MPP, or Master's/4-year BS degree in Economics or other relevant fields.
Applicants must have a minimum of ten (10) years and above of professional experience in the implementation of rural and urban planning, infrastructure development, project management, and relevant experience in development projects across both the public and private sectors.

Age Limit and Job Terms

The age limit for this position is a minimum of 40 years and a maximum of 62 years as of the date of appointment.
The Project Director will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of two (02) years, extendable on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and until completion of the project.
