Job Overview

CPEC Secretariat under the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives invites applications for the position of Project Director (PPS-12). This is a senior management role requiring visionary leadership and strategic direction to manage CPEC initiatives and projects successfully.

Role And Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Provide overall leadership, supervision and strategic direction to the Secretariat.
• Lead coordination with Chinese counterparts and facilitate effective implementation of CPEC initiatives and projects.
• Support line ministries and relevant institutions throughout the CPEC project lifecycle.
• Oversee stakeholder coordination, project related risks and senior level engagement with public and private sector institutions.
• Support implementation of CPEC priorities in line with the real understandings, the CPEC Long Term Plan and decisions of the Joint Cooperation Committee.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive and verifiable senior management experience in Government or the private sector. Candidates who have good knowledge of Chinese economy & language will be particularly encouraged to apply.
Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
