About the Role

The Project Director will be at the helm of the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the ambitious Punjab Development Program. This program envisions the development of cities with enhanced urban infrastructure, specifically focusing on efficient Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Systems across 8 key cities in Punjab. It requires strategic leadership, meticulous planning, and robust execution capabilities to ensure the program's success and operational efficiency of Water and Sanitation Agencies (WASAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire Project Management Unit, ensuring all project activities align with the program's objectives.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of sewerage and storm water drainage systems.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained and effective procurement processes are followed.
• Provide expert guidance and supervision to a team of professionals involved in various aspects of the project.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government bodies, contractors, and local communities, to drive project success.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a BE/BSc degree in Civil Engineering from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university. A minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience is essential, with at least 10 years in a significant management position within the relevant sector. The maximum age limit for this position is 65 years, ensuring seasoned professionals are considered for this critical role.
