Project Coordinator

About the Role

The Project Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and completion of school construction, rehabilitation, renovation, and minor infrastructure projects across Gilgit-Baltistan. This role is for a civil/construction professional who can coordinate site activities, monitor project progress and costs, maintain documentation, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Manager, regional management, contractors, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, timelines, quality, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, organizational policies, and construction standards.
• Maintain project records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate site visits, surveys, inspections, and technical assessments.
• Assist in assessing site conditions, accessibility, and construction feasibility.
• Support procurement, scheduling, contract administration, and project follow-up.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering, or MS in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management.

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, construction, infrastructure, or facilities. Experience in construction, rehabilitation, renovation, or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Construction processes, building standards, health & safety, and QA/QC.
• Project scheduling, cost monitoring, procurement, and contract administration.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus AutoCAD.
