Program Officer (Social Safeguards)

Organizational Context

The Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) is implementing the Punjab Cities Program (PCP), funded by the International Development Association (IDA) through the Government of Pakistan. The program's goal is to improve urban management and service delivery by participating urban local governments.

Position Overview

The Program Officer (Social Safeguards), based in Lahore, will be responsible for overseeing and implementing social safeguard measures within the Punjab Cities Program. This involves conducting assessments, ensuring compliance, and managing social risks associated with program activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Qualification:
16 Years of education or higher degree in Social Sciences from a HEC recognized university.

Experience:
Minimum 08 years of post-qualification experience for 16 years education or 05 Years for at least 17 Years education of professional and technical experience with increasing level of responsibility in social safeguards assessments and different analyses.

Age Limit:
Maximum age limit is 55 years.
