About the Organization

Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) has been supporting local governments to build infrastructures and healthy cities. PMDFC is seeking the services of qualified, experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Manager (Internal Audit).

Position Overview

PMDFC invites applications for one (01) post of Manager (Internal Audit), based in Lahore. The maximum age limit for this position is 45 years.

Required Qualification & Experience

Qualification:
Candidate must be:

• A member of a recognized body of professional accountants; or
• Certified internal auditor; or
• Certified fraud examiner; or
• Certified internal control auditor.

Experience:

• 5 years’ experience in the related field.
• Familiarity with the World Bank procurement procedures will be an added advantage.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Attitude)

The ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:

• Knowledge of legal framework including understanding of the Companies Ordinance 1984 to handle corporate affairs.
• Good command on International Standards of Auditing (ISA) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
• Knowledge of Security Exchange Commission governing rules and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of requirements of internal, management, statutory audits.
• Should have a strong analytical ability.
• Capable to design and implement internal controls, standard operating procedures, internal audit manual etc.

Compensation and Age Limit

The compensation for the position is market-driven, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The maximum age limit is 45 years. The date of measuring age will be from Date of Birth up to the last date of receipt of application. Maximum age may be relaxed by the Management in case of exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates.
