Job Overview

Khyber Girls Medical College (KGMC) / Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar, under the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Act 2015, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor of Interventional Cardiology. Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized and registered by the PM&DC. Additionally, a PM&DC Level III qualification in a respective specialty like F.C.P.S./M.S./M.D or other equivalent Level III qualification approved by the Standing Recognition Committee (SRC) and recognized/registered by PM&DC is required. Alternatively, a PM&DC Level III qualification in Cardiology like F.C.P.S./M.S./M.D or other equivalent Level III qualification in the specialty approved by SRC, and recognized/registered by PM&DC with a Level IV qualification in Interventional Cardiology, or two years of experience in Interventional Cardiology from a recognized institute, or a Certificate in Interventional Cardiology from a recognized institute/body is acceptable. The candidate must also be a CPSP supervisor in the relevant specialty. Regarding experience, at least three years of teaching experience as an Associate Professor in the respective subject is essential, provided that total experience at Assistant Professor and Associate Professor is not less than 08 years. Experience as a Professor of Cardiology will be preferred. A total of fifteen (15) research publications in the relevant subject are required, of which six (06) should have been published during the last three years. The age limit for applicants is up to 65 years. Candidates must have domiciles of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or newly merged tribal districts.
