Job Overview

Khyber Girls Medical College/ Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual for the post of Assistant Professor in Pediatrics (BPS-18). The selected candidate will be responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, conducting research, and providing clinical services in the field of Pediatrics. Required Qualifications and Experience

Qualification:

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
• PM&DC level III qualification in Pediatrics like F.C.P.S/ M.S/ M.D OR other equivalent level III qualification in the specialty approved by Standing Recognition Committee (SRC) and recognized /Registered by the PM&DC.

Required Experience/Research:

• Two years' experience in Pediatrics from a recognized institute after level III qualification.
• Two research publications in the relevant subject/ specialty in a PM&DC registered journal.

Age Limit

The age limit for this position is 28 to 45 years.

The duly filled application form, along with a comprehensive bio-data and attested copies of academic certificates and experience record, must reach the Human Resource Department, Khyber Girls Medical College, PDA Building Block-IV, Phase-V Hayatabad, Peshawar, within two (02) weeks of the publication of this advertisement in newspapers.

A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 3000/- is applicable for this position. The fee can be paid to the cashier at the Account Section of KGMC, Peshawar, or submitted online to the KGMC account titled “Salary Account of KGMC Employees”, Account No. 3005642387, Bank of Khyber (BOK). The original deposit slip must be attached with the application form.

Important Instructions:

• Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
• Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview.
• Candidates may be shortlisted based on pre-interview marks or an Entry Test if the number of applicants is very high.
• Applicants currently serving in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments/institutions.
• Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview.
• No TA/DA will be admissible.
• Selected candidates will serve KGMC, Peshawar under a probation period of one (01) year, extendable but not exceeding two (02) years.
• Services will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical & Teaching Institutions Reform (MTI) Act 2015.
• Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/newly merged tribal Districts is required.
