Role Overview

Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), a prestigious public sector institution in Karachi, invites applications from qualified individuals domiciled in Sindh for the position of Professor in various Clinical Science specialties. Qualifications and Experience

Detailed qualification and experience requirements for the Professor position are available on the DUHS website: www.duhs.edu.pk. Generally, a terminal degree (PhD/FCPS or equivalent) in the relevant specialty with significant teaching, research (including publications), and clinical experience as per HEC/PM&DC criteria is required. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant international qualifications.

Eligibility and Important Notes

Only candidates domiciled in Sindh are eligible to apply. Applicants currently in Government service or public sector Higher Education Institutions should apply through the proper channel, providing a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Age relaxation is subject to the approval of the Scrutiny Committee / Selection Board. All information provided will be kept confidential.

Application Process

1. Fill the online application form completely at www.duhs.edu.pk.
2. Prepare an application package including: one photograph, attested photocopies of relevant documents (qualifications, experiences, publications, Domicile & CNIC), three current referral letters, and a brief curriculum vitae.
3. Include a Pay Order of Rs. 1500/- (Non-refundable) in favor of Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi.
4. Send the complete application package in a sealed envelope via courier to the postal address: The Human Resource Directorate, Dow University of Health Sciences, Baba-e-Urdu Road Karachi, Pakistan.
5. Clearly mention the name of the post (Professor) and the Specialty on the top right of the envelope.
6. Job applications must be received on or before 08 May, 2025.
7. Applications submitted in person will NOT be accepted. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (a Pre-Interview Test (MCQs) may be held). No TA/DA will be admissible.
