Training Program Overview

Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi invites applications from FCPS qualified specialists for its highly specialized Two/Three Years FCPS Training Program (Level-III). This program focuses on advanced surgical sub-specialties, aiming to produce experts in niche areas. Note that selected candidates for the overall program (PEMH/CMH) may be placed in either hospital based on the selection board's decision.

Specialties Offered (Level-III) at CMH Rawalpindi

The FCPS Training Level-III program at CMH Rawalpindi covers:

• Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary and Liver Transplant Surgery
• Paediatrics Orthopaedic Surgery

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for this advanced training must meet the following criteria:

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid PMDC registration.
• Successfully passed FCPS Part-II examination in the concerned discipline (i.e., already an FCPS holder).

Preference for selection will be given to Government sponsored candidates.

Application Process

1. Application Form: Available at the Training Office, CMH Rawalpindi (Basement Officers Tower), from 0800-1500 hours.
2. Submission: Hard copies of completed applications with all attested documents must be submitted to the Training Office, CMH Rawalpindi by 23 June 2025 (till 1500 hours).
3. Required Documents:

• CVP (Curriculum Vitae) with passport-size photographs.
• One copy of CNIC.
• MBBS Degree.
• Transcript / Attempt Certificate for all professionals (MBBS).
• DMCs - MBBS (all professionals).
• Valid PMDC registration certificate.
• House Job (01 Year) Certificate.
• CPSP FCPS Degree / Congratulation Letter (FCPS Part-II passed).
• Experience Certificates.
• Application addressed to Commandant CMH Rawalpindi (Typed/Printed/Hand Written).
• Proof of Publication (if any).
• Evidence of Best Graduate & ward of Armed Forces/ Shaheed/ War Wounded (if applicable).
• Ward of army Personnel (Documentary Proof, if applicable).
• Ward of shaheed & retired Personnel (Pension Book, if applicable).
• Character Certificate (from Medical College/Hospital).
• NOC from respective government department (in case of government employee only).
• Copy of Domicile.

4. Processing Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/-. Provide the original deposit slip for Account No. 0001901000000717 (Private Fund Account, Askari Bank, CMH Branch Rawalpindi).
5. Important Notes:

• Only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Candidates must bring all original documents at the time of the interview.
• The Commandant CMH Rawalpindi has the right to terminate the training due to poor performance, inefficiency, discipline issues, or patient negligence.
• Trainees sponsored by external (non-government) organizations/departments will not be remunerated by the hospital and must submit an NOC, monthly pay slips, and appointment letter from their sponsor.
