Job Overview

The Provincial Security Unit (PSU), Home Department, Government of Sindh, invites applications for a Policy and Research Specialist. This is a contractual position based in Karachi, for an initial period of two years, extendable based on performance. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Policy formulation, strategic research, and governance-related tasks.
• Producing white papers, briefings, briefing notes, and legal reviews with a consistent track record.
• Collaborating with think tanks, government ministries, policy institutions, and international organizations.
• Managing sensitive assignments, facilitating intra-agency coordination, and ensuring timely implementation of policy initiatives.

Qualifications

Education: Master's degree from an HEC-recognized national or international university in Public Policy, Foreign Affairs, Strategic Studies, Governance, or a Master's degree in a relevant field.
Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in policy formulation, strategic research, or governance.
• A consistent track record of producing high-quality white papers, briefings, briefing notes, and legal reviews.
• Experience working with think tanks, government ministries, policy institutions, or international organizations.
• Proven expertise in handling sensitive assignments, managing intra-agency coordination, and ensuring timely execution of tasks.
