Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our clinical laboratory in Nawan Gali, Quetta. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients for various diagnostic tests, adhering to strict safety and hygiene protocols. This involves ensuring patient comfort, maintaining sterile conditions, and accurately labeling samples to prevent errors. Attention to detail and adherence to established protocols are paramount to ensure the integrity of specimens, which is vital for accurate diagnoses. To be considered for the Phlebotomist position, applicants must have successfully completed an F.Sc (Intermediate Science) qualification from a recognized board. Additionally, a certified Laboratory Technician Course, specifically approved by a Medical Faculty, is mandatory to ensure professional competence. A significant requirement for this role is a minimum of two years of practical experience working effectively in a laboratory setting. This experience should include proven proficiency in venipuncture techniques, proper sample handling, and fundamental laboratory procedures.
