Job Overview

The Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD) is seeking a skilled PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) & Database Administrator (BPS-15). This role is crucial for managing and maintaining the institute's medical imaging archive and related databases, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain PACS systems and medical imaging databases.
• Ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of PACS and database systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to PACS and database functionality.
• Manage data backup, recovery, and archiving processes.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support their imaging and data needs.
• Experience in Radiologic Technology or a similar discipline is a plus.
• Certification in CPAS (Certified PACS Associate) / CPIA (Certified PACS Interface Analyst) will be preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• MS / B.E / BCS / BS / MBA in Computer Science, IT, IS, or Electronics.
• 05 - 07 years of experience in a relevant field, including PACS and database administration.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems and medical imaging standards (e.g., DICOM, HL7).

The age limit for this position is 30 years. General age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
