Job Overview

The Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD) seeks an experienced Database Administrator (PCA) Cloud (BPS-16). This role focuses on managing and optimizing cloud-based database systems, particularly those related to Patient Care Archive (PCA) or similar healthcare data platforms, ensuring data security, performance, and reliability in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize cloud-based database systems (e.g., PCA).
• Ensure data integrity, security, and availability of cloud databases.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions for cloud databases.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
• Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to support data requirements.
• Experience in Radiologic Technology or a similar discipline is a plus.
• Certification in CPAS (Certified PACS Associate) / CPIA (Certified PACS Interface Analyst) will be preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess:

• MS / B.E / BCS / BS / MBA in Computer Science, IT, IS, or Electronics.
• 05 - 07 years of experience in database administration, preferably with cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data security best practices.

The age limit for this position is 30 years. General age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
