Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Officer for IT Support at PPCBL will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical assistance and support for the bank's IT infrastructure and applications. This role demands a solid understanding of programming fundamentals, particularly Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Key technical skills required include hands-on experience with the Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Core (ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, C#, Entity Framework). The officer should also possess frontend development experience using technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3. Familiarity with service-oriented and microservices-based architectures is also essential. Furthermore, the role involves expertise in working with Crystal Reports or other reporting tools, ensuring effective data presentation and analysis. This position is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of IT systems and supporting the bank's digital initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants for the Officer, IT Support position must hold a minimum Bachelor's Degree from an HEC recognized University, with a specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field. A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience is required, with this experience gained in a similar IT support or development role. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the specified programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues are also vital for this role.
