Organization Overview

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization delivering emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters, and exclusion from healthcare. MSF assists based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. For our activity in Dogra Hospital, Tehsil Bara Khyber District, we seek qualified and highly motivated applicants.

General Objectives

The primary objective is to provide inpatient paediatric care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values, and universal hygiene standards to improve the new-born and child beneficiaries' health conditions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Essential: Registered Nurse or BSN with valid Pakistan Nursing Council Registration.
• Experience: Essential: Experience working as a registered nurse in a hospital setting. Desirable: Experience in neonatal care, good clinical skills, strong interest in women and newborn health. Previous work experience with MSF or other NGOs is desirable.
• Languages: Essential: English, Pashto and Urdu.

Note: Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Those from Khyber District (Tehsil Bara) are encouraged to apply.

Contract Details

• Place of work: Dogra Hospital, Tehsil Bara Khyber District
• Contract: Open-ended contract with a 3-month probation period.
• Starting date: To be confirmed
