Job Overview

Multiple positions for Network Engineers are available at the Home Department, Government of Punjab. These are contract-based roles with a market-based lump sum pay package. Network Engineers will be responsible for troubleshooting LAN/WAN, managing network equipment, and providing system and network support in the public sector.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants for the Network Engineer position should possess:

• MCS or MIT or BCS or BS (Second Division) in Telecom System or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
• Seven (07) years of post-qualification experience in troubleshooting LAN or WAN, including experience with handling routers and switches, and providing system and network support in the public sector.
• A Professional Level Certificate in network administration or cyber security from a recognized institute.

The age requirement for this role is between 30 and 40 years. An age relaxation of up to 05 years is applicable as per government policy. Candidates must hold a valid domicile of Punjab Province.
