Civil Engineer

Job Responsibilities

The Civil Engineer will be involved in the planning, design review, supervision, and quality control of civil works undertaken as part of the GRADES project. This may include construction or rehabilitation of school facilities, ensuring compliance with standards and project timelines.

Qualifications

Education: At least B.Sc Civil Engineering or Equivalent from a foreign or local university, duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Registration: The applicant is required to hold active registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Experience

Requirements:
  • At least five (05) years of documentary verifiable relevant experience after acquiring stipulated qualifications.
  • Experience in public and/or private sector national/international organizations in the field of civil works.
  • Understanding of the public sector, work on donor funded construction projects and projects of a similar size and scale will be given due weightage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and willingness to travel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Urdu.
  • Prior knowledge of existing district systems being used across the province will be preferred.
