Job Overview

The Medical Superintendent, Sandeman Provincial Hospital Quetta, invites applications from eligible and qualified candidates for the position of Medical Officer / Specialists Cadre (BPS-17). This role is within the Kasi Accident & Emergency Department and other sections of Sandeman Provincial Hospital. The appointment is on a purely contract basis, initially for one year and extendable upon satisfactory performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Qualification: MBBS Degree from any institute Recognized by the PMDC with Post Graduate Clinical Diploma in a concerned specialty from any institute recognized by PMDC. Permanent PMDC Registration with Post Graduate Qualification mentioned therein. Preference will be given to concerned emergency specialists.
• Number of Vacant Positions: 16
• Domicile: Candidates from all over Balochistan are eligible to apply.

Application Process

Eligible interested candidates should submit their applications in person or via courier to the office of Establishment Branch Room No. 3, Admin block, Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta. Applications must be received by 29th May, 2025, during office hours. The application package should include two sets of attested copies of all relevant documents: educational certificates, professional experience certificates, local/domicile certificate, CNIC, four passport-size photographs, and an updated CV. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Terms and Conditions

• Age limits will be in accordance with the Government of Balochistan's current policy.
• Candidates shall not be regularized under any circumstances; however, their contractual tenure may be extended based on a satisfactory performance certificate issued by the concerned DDO.
• Candidates will be entitled to receive pay in the respective basic scale, along with applicable allowances.
• Government, semi-government, and autonomous organization employees must apply through the proper channel with a NOC from their employer/parent department.
• The number of available positions can be increased or decreased at any time during the process.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
• Selection will be solely based on the recommendations of the concerned Selection Committee. Any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification.
• Candidates who have been terminated or dismissed from any Government or non-Government position due to disciplinary action, moral misconduct, or offenses are not eligible to apply.
• Concealment of facts or submission of forged documents will lead to immediate dismissal from the position, along with legal and disciplinary consequences. Selections will be at the sole discretion of the concerned Selection Committee, which reserves the right to cancel the interview at any stage without providing any reasons.
