The Role of Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer

The Managing Director will serve as the Chief Executive Officer, bearing ultimate responsibility for the strategic direction, operational efficiency, financial performance, and overall success of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited. Essential Requirements

Candidates applying for the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer position must possess specific qualifications and experience to be considered. Applicants should hold a

• Graduate degree (Bachelor's) in Engineering, Economics, Energy Management, Engineering Management, Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or Law from a reputable university or institution recognized and accredited by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Preference will be given to postgraduate qualifications (Master's or PhD).
• A minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in large, complex organizations, with at least 5 years of this experience in a C-Suite executive position.
• Demonstrated strategic leadership capabilities, a proven track record, and robust credentials as a seasoned leader/manager with substantial qualifications in the relevant field.
• Technical expertise and business acumen, particularly knowledge of the oil and gas sector, will be considered a significant advantage.
• Clear vision and big-picture thinking, coupled with a drive and passion for building a best-in-class organizational culture.
• Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to translate complex strategies into actionable plans.
• Proven ability to ensure operational efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing best practices of Corporate Governance, risk management, and Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Assurance (HSEQA).
• Exceptional people management and relationship-building skills, including multicultural competence and the ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders effectively.
• A high level of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and the ability to build consensus through empathy and curiosity.
• Extensive experience in handling change management, organizational restructuring, and succession planning, preferably with a large organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Impeccable integrity and a strong reputation for ethical conduct.
