Job Overview

Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF) is running various projects for the welfare of retired employees and families of deceased employees of WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs, and NTDC. The foundation is looking for an individual having a dynamic personality with the ability and capacity to improve its efficiency. The appointment will be on a contract basis initially for one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance up to a maximum of 03 years or up to the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

Qualification and Eligibility

Candidates must possess a B.Sc Engineering degree (Electrical / Mechanical) from an HEC recognized university. The maximum age limit is 62 years, or the applicant can be retired WAPDA, DISCOs, or NTDC employees with a good service record. Applicants should have at least 04 years of experience as a Superintending Engineer, Resident Engineer Power House, or Manager Technical in BPS-19 or above positions. Priority will be given to candidates having experience in procurement, material management, and inventory control.

General Requirements and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Monitoring procurement of material management as well as consumption at all workshops.
• Holding review meetings to evaluate the performance of workshops for improvements.
• Monitoring technical activities at all distribution and power transformer workshops and petrol pumps.
• Responsible for improving maximum efficiency of workshops and increasing PWF revenue.
• Providing engineering and technical guidance to all Managers and Deputy Managers.
