Job Overview

Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF) is running various projects for the welfare of retired employees and families of deceased employees of WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs, and NTDC. The Foundation is looking for an individual having a dynamic personality with the ability and capacity to improve its efficiency. The position available is Manager (Procurement & Technical) PWF in BPS-19.

Tenure

The appointment will be on a contract basis initially for one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance up to a maximum of 3 years or up to the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.

Qualification and Experience

Qualification: B.Sc Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) from an HEC recognized university.
Experience: Four (04) years of experience as Superintended Engineer, Resident Engineer Power House, or Manager Technical in BPS-19 or above positions (CEs / GMs). Priority will be given to candidates having experience in procurement, material management, and inventory control.

General Requirements and Responsibilities

• Awareness about PPRA Rules.
• Result oriented, highly organized and motivated.
• Excellent analytical, writing, communication, technical, and interpersonal skills.
• Monitoring Procurement of material management as well as consumption at all workshops.
• Holding review meetings to evaluate the performance of workshops for improvements.
• Monitoring the technical activities at all distribution and power transformer workshops and petrol pumps.
• Responsible for improving maximum efficiency of workshops and increasing PWF revenue.
