Job Overview

Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF) is running various projects for the welfare of retired employees and families of deceased employees of WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs, and NTDC. The Foundation is looking for an individual having a dynamic personality with the ability and capacity to improve its efficiency. Tenure and Eligibility

The appointment will be on a contract basis initially for one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance up to a maximum of 3 years or up to the age of 65 years whichever is earlier. Maximum age limit is 62 years, and retired WAPDA, DISCOs, or NTDC employees with a good service record are also eligible to apply.

Qualification and Experience

Applicants must hold a B.Sc Engineering degree (Electrical / Mechanical) from an HEC recognized university. Candidates are required to have four (04) years of experience as a Superintending Engineer, Resident Engineer Power House, or Manager Technical in BPS-19 or above positions (CEs / GMs). Priority will be given to candidates having experience in procurement, material management, and inventory control.

General Requirements and Responsibilities

General Requirements:

• Awareness about PPRA Rules.
• Result oriented, highly organized, and motivated.
• Excellent analytical, writing, communication, technical, and interpersonal skills.

Area of Responsibility:

• Monitoring Procurement of material management as well as consumption at all workshops.
• Holding review meetings to evaluate the performance of workshops for improvements.
• Monitoring the technical activities at all distribution and power Transformer workshops and petrol pumps.
• Responsible for improving maximum efficiency of workshops and increasing PWF revenue.
