Job Overview

Shaheen Knitwear, operating under the aegis of Shaheen Foundation (PAF), invites applications for the position of Manager Accounts. This is a significant opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to lead the accounts department of an export-oriented garments industry unit located in Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring financial integrity, and contributing to the strategic financial planning of the organization. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in finance, excellent analytical abilities, and proven leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

The Manager Accounts will be entrusted with a range of critical responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Preparing timely and accurate financial reports, including budget analysis, account payables, receivables, and expense reports.
• Utilizing ERP systems and Microsoft Office products effectively to analyze financial data and reconcile accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations and managing all tax-related matters.
• Demonstrating strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills in all aspects of the role.
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Managing and mentoring the accounts team.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants for the Manager Accounts position must meet the following criteria:

• Education: CA (Inter) / ACCA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates from the export-oriented garments industry.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office products for account analysis and reconciliation.
• Ability to generate comprehensive financial reports related to budget, account payables, receivables, expenses, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of all tax matters.
• Age Limit: Up to 40 years.
