Management Trainee (Mining)

About the Programme

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan, is responsible for the exploration, mining, and marketing of various minerals. As part of its commitment to capacity building, PMDC is offering an on-the-job training opportunity as a Management Trainee through a one-year contractual engagement. This Management Training program is a one-year training contract and does not constitute an employer-employee relationship, with no obligation on PMDC to offer regular employment upon completion.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Management Trainee (Mining) position:

• Must be Balochistan domiciled.
• Eligible candidates must have at least one qualification/education, either Matric or F.Sc, from Balochistan.
• Must have graduated in 2024 (on open merit basis).
• Qualification: Bachelors in Mining Engineering (Minimum 16 years of education).
• Number of Posts: 02

Selection Process

1. Applicants meeting standard eligibility criteria will be required to appear for a written test and interview.
2. Selection will be made on merit basis, with 30% weightage on education marks, 40% on test assessment, and 30% on interview evaluation.

Stipend and Other Details

Selected candidates will be paid a lumpsum monthly stipend of PKR 80,000/-.
Incomplete and late applications will not be entertained.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview/test.
No TA/DA will be admissible for interview.
