About the Programme

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) is a state-owned enterprise functioning under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan. It is involved in the exploration, mining, and marketing of various minerals. PMDC is offering an on-the-job training opportunity for young professionals as Management Trainees through a one-year contractual engagement. This program is a training contract and does not guarantee regular employment upon completion.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Management Trainee (Geology) position, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Must be Balochistan domiciled.
• Eligible candidates must have at least one qualification/education, either Matric or F.Sc, from Balochistan.
• Must have graduated in 2024 (on open merit basis).
• Qualification: Masters in Geology (Minimum 16 years of education).
• Number of Posts: 02

Selection Process

1. Applicants meeting the standard eligibility criteria will be required to appear for a written test and interview.
2. Selection will be based on merit, with 30% weightage given to education marks, 40% to test assessment, and 30% to interview evaluation.

Stipend and Other Information

Selected trainees will receive a lumpsum monthly stipend of PKR 80,000/-.
Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Only candidates who are short-listed will be contacted for an interview/test.
No travel allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for attending the interview.
