Job Responsibilities

The Librarian will be responsible for the efficient management and operation of the college library. Key duties include cataloging and organizing library materials, assisting students and faculty with research and information retrieval, maintaining accurate library records, and overseeing the acquisition of new resources to keep the collection updated. The role also involves promoting reading and information literacy among students and ensuring a conducive study environment for all users.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Library Sciences from any HEC recognized university. This educational background ensures a solid foundation in library management principles and practices. Additionally, retired Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) from the Education Corps are also highly encouraged to apply, bringing their unique experience and discipline to the role, which can be invaluable in a cadet college setting.

Experience and Skills

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and professional individual to fill the Librarian position. For non-JCO applicants, prior experience in library management or a similar role is desirable. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and a good understanding of modern library systems and databases.
