Reporting To
The Liaisoning Officer Government Schemes will report to the Business Manager - Value Chain. This reporting line emphasizes the role's integration within the value chain framework, ensuring efficient management and coordination of government agricultural schemes.Educational / Professional Qualification
Applicants must hold a minimum Graduation degree, with a preference for an Agriculture specialization, from an HEC-recognized university or equivalent. A Master's degree or equivalent in the same discipline will be preferred, providing a robust academic background necessary for understanding agricultural policies and schemes.Experience
A minimum of 02 years of banking experience is required, with at least 01 year specifically in Agri-related roles within a Financial Institution. Candidates demonstrating prior experience in managing government schemes for Agriculture will be preferred, highlighting their practical expertise in this specialized field.Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
- Strong interpersonal skills, vital for building and maintaining effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Basic analytical skills, enabling the officer to interpret data and contribute to informed decision-making.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for preparing clear reports, client communications, and engaging presentations.
- Strong command over MS Office Suite, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for documentation and data management.
- Basic knowledge of SBP PRs (Prudential Regulations) and various Government Schemes for Agriculture, such as PMYB (Prime Minister Youth Business Loan) & ALS (Agriculture Loan Scheme) / FMS (Farm Mechanization Scheme).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate seamlessly with different departments to achieve common objectives.
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
- To act as a critical bridge between the Agriculture Business Division and other internal and external stakeholders involved in the management of government schemes for Agriculture.
- To diligently track and monitor the performance of assigned schemes against set targets, and report the progress to the Divisional Head, ABD (Agriculture Business Division).
- To actively track and monitor case logins, efficiently resolve queries from field offices, and arrange for the correction of client information as needed.
- To follow-up regularly with Regional Offices and Head Office teams at various stages of approval and disbursement processes.
- To coordinate closely with the risk team to ensure the timely processing and approval of credit applications.
- To ensure that all approved cases are disbursed in a timely manner, adhering to established timelines and procedures.
- To track and maintain Management Information System (MIS) data related to deferrals and expired insurances linked with government schemes, and ensure their timely rectification through field coordination.
- To liaise with the CAD (Credit Administration Department) team for accurate reporting of deferrals and expired insurances.
- To obtain all required MIS and data from the concerned team for SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) Reporting purposes.
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by the Supervisor(s) to support departmental objectives.
