Legal Officer (Lt Col Retd)

Role Overview

Applications are invited for the re-employment of retired/released/retiring Lieutenant Colonels as Civilian Gazetted Officers (CGOs) in the role of Legal Officer. There are two vacancies available for this position, with the likely appointment station being Rawalpindi. Successful candidates will leverage their legal expertise within the Army's framework.

Qualifications and Experience

The candidate must be a Lt Col (Retd) from any Arms/Services with the following qualifications:

• Law Graduate.
• Proficiency in MS Office and OAS (Office Automation System).
• Must have served in any Legal Branch/Slot.

General Eligibility Criteria

• Status: Retired/Released/Retiring Colonels.
• Age Limit: 54 years for Colonels.
• Date of Retirement: Officers retired within the last two years (excluding LPR).
• Ineligibility: Disciplinary case involving moral turpitude/character or misappropriation; officers retired/released/discharged compulsorily for inefficiency; officers with Medical Category 'EEE'.

Application Process and Terms

Applicants will appear before a Special Selection Board at GHQ, Rawalpindi at their own expense. Appointments will be for a period of 3 years, extendable by 01 year based on performance. Selected officers will be required to serve at any station in Pakistan.
Application forms can be obtained from the Portal of AG's Branch (CP Dte/ CP-IV) GHQ Rawalpindi or the nearest Station Headquarters. Photocopies of forms are also acceptable.
Submit applications (in triplicate) along with:

• 4 x Photographs (2' x 2') with name on the back.
• Copy of CNIC.
• Copy of 2 certificates of civil qualification as required.
• A crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 2500/- in favour of DCP.

Applications should be submitted to AG's Branch, CP Dte (CP-IV) GHQ Rawalpindi within Twenty days after the publication of this advertisement in newspapers.
